Automated Forming of Textile-Based Cylinders
The AutoForm Tube System is an advanced forming solution engineered to convert flat textile sheets into precisely wrapped and stapled cylindrical components, without operator intervention.
A laser-monitored magazine lifts each textile sheet into position, where a vacuum cup places it onto a custom carbon-fiber mold. Dual pneumatic arms wrap the material around the 3D-printed carbon-fiber mold and secure the seam using three high-precision staples.
Once complete, the formed tube is released into a collection bin, allowing the system to run continuously until the magazines are empty.
